Will 2.5" lift fit 285/75 on 99 Tacoma?

Will 2.5" front lift fit 295/75/16's on 99 4x4 Tacoma or should I go for the 3" lift? Looking at a cheap spacer life at the moment. Stuck between Daystar and Revtek. Daystar being cheaper, but only providing 2.5".

thanks

I ran 2" and 285/75's on my 96 4runner with little rubbing but i trimmed some and pretty much eliminated any street rubbing. 2.5" should be just about right but you might still have to trim a little.

Why not cornfed??? It's a much better quality lift IMO.

I can get both Daystar and Revtek products at cost. No such luck with Cornfed. I have heard great things about Cornfed though

Usually you need at least 4" total lift to fit that size tire on a Tacoma, according to the Tacoma Territory lift vs. tire size chart:

http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/...it.shtml#FAQ10

A lot of folks combine a 2-3" suspension lift with a 1-2" body lift to fit tires in that size range.

Did some research and 3" (at least on the tacoma 4x4) will fit both 285/75/16's and 33x12.50's

2.5" will fit 285/75's but not the 33x12.50's.

The 33's above may need some very minor trimming
