What interaval do you guys think is OK with Mobil One?

but I am not a gear head at all. I have a 2003 runner with 23,000 miles on it. I used the dealer to change the oil at 5 and 15 K. I changed to Mobil One at 20 K. Now at 23 K should I change it again since I am using the synthetic or wait until 25,000? What interaval do you guys think is OK with Mobil One. I do not off-road just use the runner as my daily driver.
Thanks

If it's under warranty I wouldve kept taking it to the dealership b/c they record every interval of oil changes. I personally go abut 5k on my oil changes with M1, but with yours being a newer vehicle I would not risk my warranty on it depending on how many miles you have left on it.

i believe that a 5,000 mile interval is OK by Toyota, look in your owners manual

If I remember correctly Toyota was saying that intervals as far as 7.5K were acceptable.

personal preference i guess, i was raised doing it at 3k no matter what so it gives me peace of mind.....But according to the owners manual you can go up too 7500 on dino oil if you do mostly highway....towing and short trip recommend 5k.....and thats with dino, synthetic gives you longer change intervals so 5k is completely fine IMO

The owner's manual probably isn't talking about synthetic oil when they specify an oil change interval.

I use Amsoil, and the particular kind that I use specifies an interval of 25,000 miles or one year, whichever occurs first. I am coming up on my second oil change in June since I have begun using Amsoil.

What does Mobil recommend for the oil you use? Some synthetic oil companies have different extended drain interval recommendations.

I dont really go too much for mileage in M1 oil, I am looking more for quality of the oil since it has too little trace of zinc in it and has a high flash point so I dont have to worry about it sludging up.

Yeah, I keep an eye on the coloration of the oil on the dipstick. Sounds scientific huh?
