I am trying to fix the knock sensor problem on my truck (code 53), it looks like the connector is not corrodied. I want to check the voltage from the ECU. Does anyone have an ECU PIN DIAGRAM 1988 V6 4runner.

Otherwise, try to find a Factory Service Manual and it should be in there (that's where I found the above data).

No idea, but you could at least check the number and pin count of the connectors. If they are different, then all bets are off. But if they are the same, the pinouts may be similar. See if a local library has a V6 FSM to look at.

 

I have the FSM for a 95 4runner that I can eamil to you. May or may not match a an 88, but if you want a copy send me an email address.

 

Did anyone ever find a ECU diagram for a 1988 3.0 V6 4runner? I can't find one. It looks like it is year specific. The 22RE and later years of the V6 have a different pin layout.
