Anyone got a RED 3rd Gen 4Runner?
I waited 12 weeks to get my 4Runner. I had to order it to get the Bright Red color I wanted, in 4 wheel drive, with the rear locking diff.
I have not seen very many of these Red ones. I think 2000 was the last year they made this color. I ordered mine in April 1999 and it was the first one off the boat in September.
I have always thought Volkswagon had the best colors. Royal Blue, Navy, Yellow, Red, Black, green, and White.
Post here if you have this color...I'm not talking about burgundy, I'm talking about bright red. I have only seen like 4 of these since I got mine. 3 in Texas and 1 in Colorado.
Feel free to post pictures!!!

To end the confusions, there were two red color available for the 3rd gen:
Radiant Red = bright/true red (05 Tacos still use this name)
Sunfire Red Pearl = burgundy/maroon (05 Runners come in this color but its called Salsa red).

To clarify my earlier statement, which was a stand alone statement to Hawaiian4r, also pointing out that it was the second "not bright red one" posted. The one HAWAIIAN4R posted was Burgundy, not Bright Red as mine is. The color I am looking for is "Radiant Red". Sorry, I did not post the official name at first. Here is a picture of my
Red Runner
I can kinda see how that might have been confusing, but if you read all the posts and checked the links you can see that I am not the one that is confused. It's not that hard.

Hey, thanks, Christian. That's actually an older pic, right after I lifted it almost two years ago. It is the same radiant red the others are talking about, but looks slightly darker in the shade...I just realized that was before I build my sliders, too. I need to polish it again, too
