Are you talking about the whole axle, the ring and pinion, or the third member? The rear axle will not work without some fabrication because the Tacoma has leaf springs and 4Runners have coil springs.

i thought the TRD LSD was for the 8.4" rear.... not the 8" used in the TRD E-Locker.....

oops forgot the taco has leafs!

i am sooo spaced, frustrated

i need my rig to get to work and the rear end is junk, horrible noises

i am going to swap in a whole other rear

the e lockers only came with 430s? no chance of finding an e locker with 410's huh?

thanks, tim

I am not 100% sure, I was hoping somebody else would chime in. I vaguely remember somebody had an e-locker rear axle with 4.10's they swapped out with 4.30's but once again I would not trust my memory totally on that.

I found this on J.A.'s 4Runner history webpage from the 4Runner full specifications: "+ = 4.300 w/ optional P265/70R 16 tire package

and all models with locking rear differential "

if your talking about putting a TRD taco 3rd member in your 4runner, then it will fit with housing modifications, but a non e-locker taco will not swap, and I'm pretty sure that 4.10's were offered with the e-locker
