I know alot of you guys have XBox live and play Halo 2. I was reading up on Doom 3 and apparently on XBox live they are going to offer Co-op play (play with someone on the internet to beat the game instead of each other) which I think is a cool option since now-a-day playing a 12-15 yr old kid in a game is like trying to beat a computer on the Max Difficulty. This only going to be availible on XBox not the PC version, which many of you know if you own the PC version.

I plan on picking it up on the day it comes out.

 

I bought it for PC because I got tired of waiting for it to come out on Xbox - they kept pushing the stupid release date back. I'll probably get it for Xbox... but I'll wait for the price to come down just a bit.

 

Well I picked it up today....it rocks of course....unfortunately thanks to day light savings its too bright in here to play such a dark game....So in a few hours I'll be on, if anyone else picked up and wants to play CO-OP with me just let me know....

The game as been redesigned a little so you can use the controller and dont need the speed or accuracy like you can easily accomplish with a mouse.....I also got the special edition which includes Doom 1 and Doom 2.....fun fun..

 

I will have to get it but not until the end of the week.

 

holy crap...this game is way too scarey....i dont know if i'm gonna be able to finish it....i'm looking for excuses to take breaks....heheh

 

if it ever comes down in price i iwll get it... this week i have my phone bill due $60, my car insurance $90, and $125 for daycare due!!!! grrrrr..... and i have no money, we do have a job tomorrow htough to work on, so at least i should be able to wipe half of that out

 

dang, that co-op option would be amazing. i got this for the pc the week it came out and never had such a good time playing a game before.

i might have to look into getting a box sometime soon, now... still haven't played halo 2 as well.

d3 was the first game to ever make hit escape and exit because i got too stressed out or scared. i hated not having a lighted weapon, but the flashlight makes it so much more intense.

a friend of mine works for ms and said their next generation console will be a lmini pc, almost, with a lot of online capability. so live co-play will be standard.

 

I totally dig on DOOM3 (PCver.) and, yeah! Scary game... I keep a note pad close to me, so as to, write down all the door/locker codes. The new Half-Life2 is also quite cool, but more like a crossword puzzel... but thats just me!

the regular xbox the current version is like a min pc already

 

so, yeah, I've never had the crap scared out of me as much as this game has!!! OMG! I've almost pissed myself a couple times.

 

yeah, i can only play for about 30 minutes before i need a break, an usually I wont come back until the next night..heheh

 

got it on pc.. dont have an xbox. doom3 ROE is very sweet too

 

what is ROE?...I guess i could yahoo it but wheres the fun in that...

 

i thought doom3 was a freaking great game. I think it would be super hard with xbox controller, but the coop is cool.

Would be tons of fun on a big screen and theater sound.
too bad it can not be a pretty as on my computer.

 

well it was sorta redesigned for xbox to meet xboxs needs...so the characters probably arent as hard as they are on PC...I'd have to say its feels like it was designed only for the xbox when I'm shooting and dodging...
