pics of my carnage from today

i managed to break the case on my t-case. i have a feeling by the way it looks and what happened that the bolts just came loose and backed out. what kind of toyota t-case is this anyways?

looks like a gear driven t-case not a top shift

from the info that i have found so far i beleive that it is an rf1a foward shift. now just to try and find on.

well they came in 84-88 carb trucks and 4runners. you could use a top shift but you might have to cut out for the shifter make sure you get the right spline count too. how does your adapter look?

luckily the adapter didn't suffer any damage. i'm going to start calling around in the morning to try and locate one.

thanks. i think i might be able to salvage this one. i dilled and tapped the holes to 7/16x20. the pices the broke off i used jb weld on them to hold them in place. once the adapter is bolted on the pieces won't be able to go anywhere anyways. hopefully i'll have it back together tomorrow.
