panhard help -- what style ends

i need a extended panhard since i have been rubbing my gas tank on hard left turns.....

my question is should i use a "johhny joint" type ends like the factory or can i use 3/4" heim style for both ends or should i use 1 heim on frame end and factory style for axle??

thanks

I end up moving the gas tank so the d-shaft wouldn't rub. Infact, by moving it, I have the option to do a trianglate upper control arm and get rid of the pan hard bar totally........when wife allow funds to do it.....
