I finally bobbed my bed. I had an 82' long bed and the end was getting pretty messed up from backing in to things and dragging it. So I cut 18.5 inches out of it and didn’t put the tailgate and lights back. I made new taillights and used LEDs it came out nice and I like the look of it. It is going to be way different to drive now that there is none hanging out there. I cut it down to 70" long witch leaves 1-1.5" behind the rear leaf spring hanger and it looks funny with the long wheelbase and no tail. I will try to get pics later this week as my landlord took his digital with him on vacation. I wanted to know if anyone ells have cut there’s near as much I have heard of 12.5 or so? Any one ells bobb their bed yet.

You can do a first gen pickup longbed 19.5 inches. Thats what is next for me.
