I'm a believer in the right parts for the job;you wouldn't use a screwdriver to hammer in something would you? .............ok,bad example since we've all done it.

How many pucks? If he gets T-bone'd he's not going to be real happy if the pucks shatter.

What I dont get is that for a few dollars more than hockey pucks and home depot bolts you can get a Roger BRown body lift, so why take the risk?

DUDE NOOOOOOO.

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD IDEA !

The first Truck I ever owned was an 81 Toyota Pickup with 35" Mudder and a Huge Lift.

What I didn't realize when I bought it was the fact that the body lift was made from HOCKEY PUCKS.

Needless to say after about 1 year, the pucks started to CRACK. on a wheeling trip one set of pucks cracked and fell out. the HOLE cab shifted causing more pucks to crack and fall out on one side. This F#CKED up allot of things. twisted the floor board. Broke some linkage, and made a mess of everything.

I consider myself lucky, in the fact that the entire cab didn't just fall right off the frame. But Im sure it would have If I had been on a serious section of the trail with any kind of incline.

Hockey Pucks will not with stand the forces applied to them in this setup. And WILL FAIL Sooner or later.

Tell buddy if he plans on keeping the pucks to repalce them when they start to crack, which will be EVERY 6 months or so. OR the dumb ass could just use real hardware.

I wouldnt drive in his rig. or be behind or beside him on a trail or road.
