I am in an avanced welding class and I need to make a project out of aluminum so I was thinking about making That guard that bolts on under the bumper and valance. Any design Ideas? I could use the plasma cutter to cut any shapes into it that I want or should I just leave flat and polish it? Pictures of aftermarket modles would be helpfull.

I'd make a light weight roof rack, not a fan of leaf guards....

 

That sounds cool, but from other professional welders I've been told aluminum was hard to weld/bend? But like he said I would just go with a roof rack then sell it for another Runner mod
