So I have a rather disturbing looking hole in the drivers side of my frame under the bed (salt sucks). I'm thinking of getting it patched, and I wondered, while I was at it, there are any problem areas in the frame particularly in the rear that I might wanna have a welder re-enforce (BTW, is cladding the preferred term?).

Also, does anyone have a suggestion for a good welder to go to in Ohio in the Dayton area? I've read all about the guy in columbus to avoid, so who should I see?

I'm gonna try this questsion in the general tech area well.
