Question Help Please

So cold the other day that one of my hoses (1987 4runner) that runs from the side of the EFI into right above the power steering broke in half. Went to the dealership but they said it is discontinued. Is there any way I could get a replacement? Or am I subjected to scrounging junk yards the rest of my life.

Also wondering how difficult it is to swap intake manifolds. Got a stuck screw in where the thermostat cover goes, and after about a week of trying to drill it out I just bought a used one for 10 dollars.

All help/info is appreciated.

Thanks

Can you get us a pic of this "hose?"

Is it a vacuum hose, or what? How big is it?

Just go to NAPA (or similar) and get it. You can cut it to length.

I find it hard to believe that the dealer cannot get that for you.

They are just being lazy.

There is a guy in the for sale section parting out a 22re. He might have what you need. I bought some stuff from him, he is reasonable and great to work with. Also- I have access to a donor truck for a short time, try to get a picture posted. The donor is a 92 22re.

This is where it goes in above the pwr steering.

if you have a NAPA or a local shop that does hydralic or high pressure hoses i think they can fix you one i think they can start at the large ends and then couple it to the smaller size in the middle
