tell me what you guys think... doing a head swap

so right now i am the owner of an 87 4runner that i rolled over about 2 years ago. the roll over left the body of my truck devasted, but it still runs like a champ. the motor, chassis, and frame and everything was unharmed after the roll over. i've been driving and wheelin the truck ever since, but after 2 years i'm getting kind of tired of driving a truck that is well........ rolled over. i recently found an 84 pickup down the street from where i live that's for sale with a blown headgasket. what do you guys think about swapping the head from an 87 4runner into an 84 pickup? my 4runner is efi, the 22re while the 84 pickup is the carburated with the 22r. i think the block is taller on the 84's. any other complications on a project like this? my mechanic said he would charge me 300 bucks to swap the head. the head on my 4runner was also rebuilt about 2 years ago. the owner of the 84 pickup is asking for 1500 dollars for the truck, but i think that's asking too much. if i can get the truck for at least 1,000 i think i'll take it if something like this is possible and practical. the 84 looks like it's in pretty good shape minus the head gasket. the paint is still shiny and the body has a couple dents here and there, but over all it looks pretty good. it's got a 3 inch rancho lift on it, 33 inch tires, nice shiny rims, and a custom stereo system. it also has all the factory options including the sunroof, power windows, the tach, the nicer interior and some other shizzam.

any comments are welcome! pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

87 4runner head (EFI) won't work on an 84 (carb) block. It has dome top pistons and it won't clear...

Yeah, one of the bocks is onger then the other. Another difference woud be the height, one is shorter while the other is shorter. I'd say it's imposible.
