Has anyone ever seen the bench in the rear of the extra cab taco removed. Is that bolted in... enabling it to be removed? I've looked all over the internet and can't seem to find an answer.

It's welded in, but there have been a few guys that have removed it...
I'm pretty sure they are just spot welded inplace.

 

I am wanting to cut it out and put in a subwoofer box and still have the fold down seats work. Has anyone seen this done? I have seen one picture on a forum but can't contact the guy who did it. It doesn't look that hard. I guess you could just cut out the bench part and leave the fold down seats in place. Any other thoughts??
