Damaged CAT

While hunting I went off road and my CAT was damaged to where it cracked and is now leaking . Would an aftermarket CAT work or should I go to the STEALERSHIP and spend $500+ dollars for a new one. If an aftermarket CAT would do then who would you recommend??? Someone told me that the OEM's are the only one that would work properly with the computer configs and all. True or False?

Go to NAPA and pick up a bolt on direct fit. $124 for me and it works fine.

You can get a hi-flow knock off for $150. I don't think there is any compelling reason to get an origonal replacement.
