i just cut and pasted this, search for tires under ohio, it is their online price quote, i know the price is messed up but it says they have to honor it!!! if my local store won't honor it i may stop in when i am in kentucky this weekend.

 

doesn't hurt to try i guess. too bad i don't live in ohio

 

i bet your local store will match it if you leave out the ohio part. if not a buddy of mine live on the KY side of the Ohio river, i may get him to take a trip across the border and pick them up for me, i was planning a trip up there soon anyway. i am sure they have some loop hole built in to "the system" but it sure is worth a shot, at $4 a piece i will buy as many as i can if they let me.

no, checked online. i think if i called they would quote reg prices and there goes the incentive.

i tried, i ptu my order in on-line then called them today to arrage pickup and got severely yelled at by the guy there for trying "something" and was told that they would not sell me anything!

this was the most rude person in retail i have ever spoken with, i didn't push him at all, just told him that i had an on-line price quote with a really low price good through 1-06-05 and wanted them to honor it. he never said that it was an error on the web-site, apologized, or anything, just started yelling. (i think he thought i cracked their website or something) i explained to him that was their price on their web-site it was there yesterday and today, i got sick of the guy being so rude and hung up on him. if i remembered his name i would call their corporate headquarters and let him stand in the unemployment line....

on a side note, i didn't expect to get these tires for this price, i understand retail "contract" law fairly well but figured it was worth a shot.
