Danny, make sure "Advertise Server" is turned off.
If left on, we may not be able to get in the game as word spreads fast in the UT community about fast servers.

If left on it will show up in the master list, and gamers around the world will be knocking at the door trying to get in.

You must have all 5 in order to play.

I have 2004, maybe Data can setup a server for it later if he gets the game.
It is a better game than UT.

 

I have 2003, but I'll see what I can do to get 2004. I've heard it was killer.

 

I think I have all the versions of UT, but only 2004 loaded on the computer.

Tonight will be the regular Unreal Tournament. Be sure you have patch 4.36. You might want to download the Bonus Packs as well.

 

Danny, did you input that extra line in the ini file so the Warboss dude I sometimes play as will show up?

Here is a quick tip if you want to set up audio taunts:
1. When in your control area, look for the input area and choose the Speech Binder button.
2. Once there you will see several drop down lists.
Under the first one drop it down to "taunts."
From there a new list will pop up showing you the sounds available.
Choose one.
3. Hit the bind button with your mouse, then assign a key.
I use the numbers on my number key pad.
To make them work, you have to enable the Num Lock button at the top of the key pad.

Corey, I'll upload that map for ya! What do you guys want to play? CTF or just Deathmatch? Hell we could play a little bit of both.

 

That is weird, I have always had to input this last line in the ini file.
CTF to start sounds cool.
I have not played plain old death match in ages.
I am off to play on my server here in a bit to see how the maps are.

 

CTF it is. I've taken out some of the smaller maps. So say we have 12 bots. When more people join, will the bots just drop off and make room for more people?

 

I just tried some Team DM maps, it was fun.
CTF is very good too.

A good Team DM map is Morphius.

If you have the maximum players set for 16 on the one screen, and 12 bots in the bot area, then if more than 4 humans join in, then one bot will log off to keep the max at 16.

So if 15 humans joined in only 1 bot would remain.
Bots will always exit to allow humans to join.

This is an older game, (1999) so a lot may not have it.
This game was truly ahead of its time, and remains one of my favorites.

 

I have a Christmas program to attend at 6:00 pm MST but will be home by
7:00 pm MST. Will be just a little late.

IMHO it would be great if everyone could upgrade to UT2004 and then play
onslaught with teams.
