Lightweight aluminum rear bumpers?

Does anyone here know if they make an aluminum (non-tube style) rear bumper for the '84-'95 Hilux PU's?

I currently have a steel "Fey" bumper on the back of my '88 PU, but I'd like to get something much lighter. My truck seems to handle alot better without that heavy steel weight hanging on the backend. However, I'm concerned about the possibility of major bed damage if I am ever rear-ended for some reason.

Does anybody make a rear bumper that's light, yet very strong for the back of these particular trucks?

Thanks.

One of the designs I'm kikcing around would be made substantially from Aluminum. I'm no where near producing these yet though.

Question anything?

bump!
Has this idea been mulled over/ tried by anyone?
I contrary to many folks here, DON'T like the idea of putting every single wind catching, heavy piece of metal on my rig.. A lightweight, tough, and good looking bumper( front and rear) is the cake with the icing for me... Anyone know of where to look outside of fabbing my own?
