4.7l into a 98 t100?

i saw that there were a few threads for the 4.7 into the 4runner, but has it been done into the t100. i think that it would drop right in, but i have no clue.

how much extra stuff would i need aside from the motor, trans, ecu, and wiring harness? would the stock exhaust from the 4.7 work, or would i have to do some custom fab work?

i dont have the money now, but its something i have been pondering for a while now. i only have 2 more years paying on my truck so buying a new one is out. can i make pre-tundra with a v8?

Save yourself the headache of a swap. A 98 T100 ECU can handle the TRD S/C upgrade. Get yourself a TRD 3.4L supercharger for $1750 new and spend another $900 for the URD fuel kit. Your truck will run great, have just about as much HP as the 4.7L, and it will be much cheaper than trying to dump a 4.7L into it. Just my $.02

Its basicly supra injectors (bigger) and a bigger fuel pump to supply some extra squirt! Then you can run more boost (smaller pulley) and voala! More power...

oops, forgot a supra maf too...

I think the biggest thing though, is that the kit eliminates all of the short comings of the TRD S/C. Yes, the engine produces more power, but it runs much more efficiently and safely. Best of both worlds.
