I have a 92 pickup, and I have gone through three headlights in the last month. They last for about a week then they go, didn't know if anyone maybe had the same problem and had maybe found a solution? I assume a short in the system, but I looked at the wires right before the headlight and I found nothing there. It is only the drivers side. Thanks for any input.

 

Pull the light out and check the voltage, sound like maybe bad regulator or something.

 

also are you touching the bulb with your hands when you are installing the new one? thats a no no in the headlight world... you cant touch the bulb as oil from your hand will make the bulb burn out very quickly
