Taco 5" lift - still rubs?

Hey,

I got 2" RB body lift and 3" CF lift. ALso, i have 15x8 eagle alloys (i think -30mm offset), and 33x12.50 Firestone Destinations. I did the pinch weld mod and that did help some, but i still rub while turning and flexing at speeds. Though this isn't bad at all on road and is rare i think it will be much worse off road with sway bar off. I was pretty sure that I would have no rubbing at all with 5" lift. Could somebody explain my problem and/or give me ideas of fixing it (i dont wanna mess with outer body for trimming).

thanks

I also posted this same thread on ttora. 2 ideas i got were 1) Get new front coils and shocks (mine maybe have sag) 2) Some guy also said get an alignment and have the move the caster angle forward.
I've never heard of that. Please give me some info and also does it cause more tread wear?

did u actually get 3" or are the spacers just rated at 3". I run 5" lift with 15x10 wheels and 33x12.50 on a std cab and have never rubbed after I did a pinch weld. Im sure my coils dont give as much as yours but it doesn't sound like you got 3".

I dont think there is anyway every truck will get 3" becuase difference trucks use different springs. Should have measured before and after.

stock springs from a 99 could be changed to give you the full lift. maybe OME's.
