Thumbs up fixed my cracked dash pad

well i finally got sick and tired of looking at the cracked dash pad in my 84 project/restoration....so i fixed it. i cut the high ridges of the cracks to level with the surface of the pad and filled them with bondo/sanded to contour. then i went to the local auto upholstery shop and bought a yard of no slip, low sheen, leather grain vinyl (black) and a can of 3m super stick spray glue (for vinyl car top installation, guarateed not to release with heat/sun). i took out the vents and glued that vinyl to the dash pad. put it all back together and it looks new. best of all with the no slip vinyl, i don't have to worry about my sunglasses sliding out the window when making a super fast/sharp right turn. i'll take pics tomorrow. guess i better learn how to post 'em
