Red Cone, Radical Hill and Missouri Gulch Video

Here is a video of us on Red Cone and Radical Hill. 2.8mb

http://www.yodertech.com/4x4/Missouri Gulch.wmv

And me going up the rock garden on Missoui Gulch. 2.2mb

http://www.yodertech.com/4x4/Red Cone9_04_01.wmv

Enjoy.

It was Cajun, Mike Brown, Rick from Rising Sun (JF60) and myself. Only Mike and I continued up the Rock Garden. It was pretty easy for us this time. Mike should have a vid I took of him on his camera.

I don't have time to post the video right now due to looking for a new job. But it looks a lot like Scott's traversal of the rock garden.

It was a fun day. We made good time, and the weather was great. I think I only hit the bottom of my truck once all day, which is pretty unusual these days. This was my first time on Red Cone, and it wasn't even close to as scary as I'd always been told it was. I'm not very intimidated anymore by steep hills. One fellow told us the trail has changed in recent years, too, and that the steep hill used to veer off to the right and have big moguls, making it much more of a challenge. But Red Cone certainly has spectacular scenery. And the section of trail at the bottom, below tree line, is fun.

This dude Action Jackson with sweet FJ80 took this same run with a bunch of Rising Sun Guy's a few months ago. Check out his videos. They are of the same obstacles. Which makes it interesting. Check out Dean'o from the club in his p\up on the 2nd 3.1mb video. He almost flips it over by giving it too much gas. He couldn't quite make it up the rock garden either. He has a crawler, but no lockers and gave it a good go.

Our 3G 4Runner's really did well again. Their starting to impress people more and more on runs these days.
