Anyone run Boggers and IFS?
Considering stepping up to 35x10.50 Boggers. Anyone run Boggers on IFS? I am locked f and r with 4:88's. Chevy rears but bone stock IFS. I know breakage will occur if I am heavy on the gas. Who has run Boggers on IFS and what was your experince?

Personally I dont like boggers unless you are on flat ground, they have no side tread only tread for going forward, Horrible if your on a sidehill you have no traction. BFGs or Swampers would be better IMO plus boggers suck on the road like no other.

I am running brogger 33x14x15 on a 93 U/P with 6in lift and V6 and no Drivetrain mods at all but a heavy duty clutch and i do not break any thing and i go wheelin/mudding once a month in SC mud that is like glue and deep. the reason i brought the tries was they are like have a locker (i get throught what ever my buddy does with his 87 4runner with sas and locked up http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/557944). the only problem with them is that they wear fast and are very loud on the highway. but if i could do it again i would go with a locker and bigger swampers but a problem with swamper radials is the 87 4runner pop 3 of them in one day so i would get the SXs

gearing a bit tall?
I have been doing a bit of research myself, and it seems to me that 4.88 w/ 35 and an auto tranny mated to that 22 is not going to have enough to push those heavy boggers real well. It may *work* but you'll have a serious loss of power. My 2 cents...I am by no means and expert, others with much more knowledge feel free to correct me.

The folks at interco (super swamper)will tell you that it's not a good idea for reasons mentioned above (power to spin them). We do alot of mud racing down here in MS, and boggers are really only recommended for big block power (even though whoever sells them to you will tell you otherwise). Interco reccomends a tsl or tsl/sx for your setup. Give them a call!

After reading more, I am going to go with SSR or LTB. Not enough power for the boogers...........yet! Chevy 4.3 v6 coming soon. So with that said, how do the SSR/LTB measure. Are they true to the posted od on the Interco site when mounted? Anyone use the SSR? How are the sidewalls? I am familiar with the LTB's but not the SSR's.

Interco states my Q78's at 35.5" tall. Mounted on rims and aired up, they measured 36.25.
SSR's have a very weak sidewall, and dont clean as well as a TSL in the mud. LTB's are basically just TSL's in odd sizes with a larger outer lug and a wider block spacing. They wear quicker than a TSL.
Personally, i love my TSL's. This truck is my daily driver, i put about 300 miles a week on it. Keeping the tires rotated and inflated i should be able to get 20K miles out of mine, and thats on an over 6K pound rig with a rear locker. Id run either TSL's or LTB's.
