Noisy front suspension

When ever I cause the front suspension to travel more than a inch I get a very loud creaking noise. I am guessing this has something to do with the torsion bars. I am getting ready to install some Bilstein shocks and a Heavy duty rear spring set so I would like to take care of any and all problems so I don't need to keep realigning it. Its a $100 expense I could do with out doing more than I have too.

Also the truck has some mileage on it (177000) and has been driven in Rochester, NY during the winter....Which means lots of salt. Is there anything else on the suspension that I should replace...ie rubermounts and other wear parts.

Thanks
Scott

inner and outer tie rods - ball joints - steering stabilizer - idler arm rebuild - rebuild/replace the front cv axle/boots - -torsion bar mounts - all that i can think of right now. I plan on getting all that stuff over the winter months and do a total rebuild on the front end next spring.

I just replaced the tie rods on both sides. But that didn't stop the creak. I searched the forums and only found info on the coil spring toyos. Also I plan to put ball joint spacers in so I will probably replace the BJs at that point

I am still having the problem with the creaking front end during large suspension travel. I am going to be changing out the wheel bearing next weekend so I will have the fron tore down. Just curious if anyone could help me figure this out. I would like to fix it while things are tore down.

Thanks

Why did this thread get moved into the 3rd Gen forum?? When I first posted a couple of years ago it was in the 2nd gen forum.
