clutch for H2O crossing?

The last time I had my truck in water... (30") It started to lose power big time. My thoughts were it was due to my tranny being submerged and my clutch losing grip. Anyone know of a clutch that prevents this... I never thought I'd ask for a waterproof clutch...

Your clutch will not get wet and slip unless you release it while it's submerged. There is no such thing as a waterproof clutch. You have to choices to improve the "grip", higher rating pressure plate or advanced friction materials.

Unless you're missing the boot on the release fork, water should not enter the bellhousing very quickly as the only other opening is a small weep hole at the bottom.
