SAS question

How do you get the front hanger perfectly centered under the frame? I just set mine under the frame with a jack. And measured from the shackles. Got the distance on both sides the same. That seemed to work. But I was wondering if there are different/easier ways to do this.

I did pretty much what you did, only ChrisCo and I took measurements probably a dozen times. We measured from the edges of the frame, from the center point of the radiator, from the outside of the fenders, etc. When all the measurements agreed that it was as centered as it was going to get, we tacked it and measured again and again until we had convnced ourselves it was in the right place. Then I welded it in.

Never just measure the x-member... put the springs on and load it, and then measure the axle for squareness..
