the biggest tire avai on stock 15x6 rims.....

hello all, i am going to buy some tires this weekend for my 99 4runner....what is the biggest tire i can put on the stock 15x6 rims?the one on there now look very small :cry: i was looking for some nice off-road tready tires that look big to cover the huge gap in between the fender and tire.....not too expensive but im willing to spend $$$. any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The biggest listed at tire rack are these wranglers

That was with a quick search though....

Here are smaller YOKOS (I like these a lot better)

I would not get any mud tire other then the BFG or Yokos.
So... you don't have a lift? If you are stock height then all you can go is 32x10.5 and those will most likely rub. By the sound of your post I thought you were going to get them as big as possible but on stock wheels, not stock height. In that case forget anything in my first post...

265/75/15. Wouldn't go much bigger on a 6" rim.

You should be able to fit these on with no problem.

I'm assuming you have 225/70/15's...correct me if I'm wrong. Yes, they will look bigger.

not too shure but they look tiny as hell.....makes me ......so the 265/70/15 is the biggest i can slap on w/o rubbing issues on a stock lift>?

Search like mad! This place has had so many questions answered so many times you will find the best answers buy searching extensively. If nothing is showing up then ask, cause nobody in here realy minds answering questions. As for improving off roading with 2wd, ummmmm...... get 4wd! I honstly have no other solution.
