Yeah I think they copied it very good too. lol

It's probably an add for something other than toyota, so they just edited the badge.

I think it's one of those odd brands that Toyota sublets to which is sold in smaller countries across Europe and Asia. I've seen a few other familiar "faces" that didn't match the brand.

If I understand it correctly, sometimes the larger motor corporations will sell their design, etc to another company in another country.

When I was in South Korea 9 years ago I remembered seeing a LOT of Acura Legends around. At the time the design was 3-4 years old but these cars all looked new and they carried the Kia insignia.

No no no. That's "Made in China". They called it "Great Wall Admiral II", crew cab pickup, and they are coming to the US this Fall or so.

could be a 00, cause the 99's and 00's had the same grill. 01's had a diff grill.

BTW: care to give us some background on the pic and where you found it?

I SERIOUSLY doubt that toyota will let it on the US market looking like that. Ford sued toyota cause they initally wanted to call the Tundra a T-150 to copy Ford. Ford sued and won. If that thing comes over and is crappy, then it will give Toyota a bad name cause it's identical front end of a 3rd gen runner. If it happens, then expect the resale on 3rd gens to PLUMMET.
