Front end suspension lift question
Ive seen a lot of Tacoma's (96-2001) with 4-6" suspension lifts. Now, I can see that the rear, that they are usually just using blocks, but, for the front, what are they using?
I know the 3rd gen taco's and runners share the same front end suspension. I couldn't imagine sticking 4-6" coil spacers on there...What are they doing for the lift then? I would imagine the CV's would be at a horrible angle, and would think you'd need a longer front diff.

For the cheapos out there, like me, we use coil spacers (will need to get a good set of coil compressors if you plan to do this yourself). And for those with more $$$, they use coil over shocks such as Donahoes, SAWs (Sway-A-Way's) and King just to name a few.
With the spacers as well as the coil overs, you can get about 3" of lift while the other inches come from body lifts. And yeah, they are terrible on the CVs, but there is a diff drop available to help alleviate the problem. Hope this helps you all out.
