sealed beam to H4 style head light kits, anyone!

Hi guys, I saw a set of sweet looking head lights this morning at Autozone, they fit the spot where my sealed beams go and use an H4 replacable bulb. They are made by Blazer, has anyone installed a set, I hate how dim my head lights seem in my truck and I know with these I could buy the high out put Zenon bulbs and scrap my old halogen sealed beams, I just want to make sure they are worth the $40 for the set and then another $20 for the bulbs! They would give the front end a cool look I think with clear lenses, any input would be greatly appreciated! Matt

I thought about those same lenses for my Celica. I ended up not getting them. I put some aftermarket clear lenses in my old 94 ranger, after about a month, the heat from the bulb caused all of the chrome inside the housing to flake off. I will never buy aftermarket lenses like that again!

Silverstars look great and preform well... Excellent sealed beam light

Hella makes a set of H4 conversion lights... I think IPF (ARB) also does.

Go with the Hella conversions. I had them in my 92 PU and they were awesome. Very well built.

I would recommend the Hella conversion. I have used it numerous times and I've always been happy with it. The plus side is you can install any bulb you want. Do buy covers for them. I gaurantee that every rock kicked up will be aimed directly at your new lights. I've learned from experience.
