I am really interested in a 95 Toyota Ext Cab 4x4. I don't know if it is a 4 cylinder or 6 at the moment but I need to know what to look for before purchasing it. It has 105000 miles and it is a five speed. I know old Yotas rusted out a lot but I don't know about the 95 year. If someone can tell me what to look for when i go to test drive the truck that would be great. What do you ya think a good asking price is on a truck like that? Thanks,

There we're 2 models that toyota made for the 1995 year. In 1995 they made the mini truck (pickup) and they also made the Tacoma in 1995.5. I own a 95 Pickup, and yes it is rusting a bit... THANK YOU SALT MONSTER... If you are looking at a pick up I would check around where the exhaust pipe comes out (dirvers side behind the rear wheel well), this has a tendency to rust out first.. then just check around the truck in general.. any deep scratches where there is no paint left will evenutally turn into rust and so on... good luck with your purchase and hopefully you will be another member of the great toyota family

Also.. I bought mine in may with 105,000 Mi. on it and I paid about $6000 for it. (4X4 SR5 Ext. Cab V6 5spd -- all the options except a/c)
