I was doing some rust control and chasis painting when i noticed the crappy stock steering stabilizer. OME looks like the way to go, could anyone confrim the part number for the kit. Thanks

 

I'm due for one also...gonna get rid of the Rauncho. Good thing I saved the old bolts.

does the pro comp ss come with the kit similar to that of the ome, as in a perfect fit using all original mounting locations? I hear with the rancho you have to add a bracket or some type of nuisance step. Fill me in, I have pro comp es3000 shocks and i like them so far. thanks

 

Which one do we get? I was looking at the link for the Procomp one and it just confused me

 

The Pro Comp ES2000 SS for my 1995 uses the factory mounting locations and included all needed hardware. The only 'hardware' required is a big mounting stud that goes into the hole in the steering linkage where the factory SS bolted.

Once you get the factory SS off the vehicle everything bolts back into the factory places (using the supplied stud to mount the SS to the linkage)

I am sure OME is good stuff but I am very happy with my Pro Comp for 50 bucks less!

 

Spend another $20 and get a quality part. Pro Comp is junk IMO. At least their shocks anyways and since a steering stabilizer is pretty much a shock I would think it would be the same way.
