Looks a little rough, but it will be a mean trail rig once you put some $ into it!

ya i know, i wish that the previous owner hadn't painted it flat black, which is now peeling off every where i am thinking of painting it white again, i got it for $1500 which i don't think is too bad considering that it is a '84 SR5, when I'm all done and 6" higher on 36x12.50 TSL's i will be in it only about $3000

Whoever painted that did a god awful job.
Sand it down and paint it camo.

Nice toy though, wish I had one of my own!
What are the plans so far?

i went to 4wheel parts yesterday and spent $450 on lift stuff, i should have it lifted by next Wednesday when my 4" springs and all of the other stuff that 4wheel parts didn't have in stock get here, as of last night she is locked in the rear i am thinking of repainting it white which was the original color, i will probably run some old 33's that i have around here until i save enough money for 5.29's', 36's (if they don't rub too bad) and a 2" body lift, and maybe a front locker. a few of my wheeling friends have this combination of lift and tires on toy pickups and do really good

Paint those wheels black first thing.

That and a better paint job would make it great.
