How much is your dealer's hourly labor rate?

Dunno. I never take anything to a dealer unless it's for warranty. They charge too much by the hour, charge too much for all the "shop supplies" and crap, and frequently don't do good work. No offense to any of you guys who work at dealerships, but you know what I mean. Although I have known some first rate dealer service depts as well. If it's something I don't want to do myself (rare) I use an independent shop.

100, the Lexus dealer is like 90
the maintenance work is not priced bad at all, if you take the price of all the fluids and filters plus all the waste oil they deal with and the mess I don't mind

We charge $80 an hour,but we always offer coupons and such or there is a reduced rate for normal maint. ,i.e.- a front brake job w/ rotor machining costs $169,but the factory pads are 60+ bucks and the tech's flag 2.5 hours.At 80 a hour that would come to 200 alone.
