has anyone changed the oil in their supercharger??

hey guys, I have a trd supercharger i am putting on my 02 tacoma, it was on my 994runner for about 30k miles and since it is that old and i am taking it off to put on another vehicle i figured i would change the oil in it. i was reading it is a special 4oz. of synthetic oil i would get from magnuson, the company who makes the trd charger, but there was nothin of anything about trd or toyota stuff on the site. Does anyone know where i can buy this specil oil to put in my charger, the kit comes with the oil and a new drain plug i was told. has anyone ever changed theirs. I figured better be safe than sorry to change it and with the charger off it wouls be easy insurance ya know. let me know guys. Thanks
Jon

You can get the same oil that Magnuson sells for a 3rd of the price by going to your local GM dealer and getting a 4 oz bottle of supercharger oil.

hey thanks gadget, i was reading on your site its a synthetic oil, so i can get that oil at my gm dealer asking for a 4 0z.bottle of synthetic supercahrger oil? Also, how important is it to put in a new drain plug when changing the oil since the kit from magnuson comes with a new plug? can the old on be out back in with some thread sealant or locker?? thanks gadget and you have a great website with lots of info and thanks for sharing about the urd fuel kit, that kit will be going on my tacoma when the supercharger goes on. thanks again
Jon

The drain plug will never wear out. I have no idea why they send a new one. It does have an O ring on it for the seal. If the O ring is damaged, just replace the O ring...

The GM supercharger oil is the very same stuff as Magnuson sells at 3 times the price. It all comes from Eaton, so for $6 at your GM dealer you are all set.
