Break lines and lift on a 3rd gen

IM about to put in my Revtek tommrow morning. And I am wondering if Im gonna run into any problomes with the break lines being to short???Just a reminder that I have a 1997 2wd 3.4L I can buy the stainless steel lines locally but they are off a tacoma and are made for 6 inch lifts in the front. If I gotta replace the lines, will the Tacoma 94.5-03 braided break lines fit????

I put on longer stainless lines for my lift--why worry about stopping for $80 besides I can stop faster than a honda civic now!

The reason for lifting is that I got the wrong offest rims. The 16x8 on BF A/t ko 265/70/r16 rub. So I lifted the truck. I always wanted to lift ir. Here on Oahu, HI there are hardly any 4wd roads. So a 2wd pre-runner setup is just a step below ideal. The kit did not come with extended break lines? Where can I buy some braided steel ones?

cool, from the website I can only see the rear lines. Where can I get the front line? I know 4wheel parts sell on for the Tacoma. Will that fit???

I never extended my brakelines with ~3 inches of lift, and never had any trouble. If you have the money, do it, but I don't think its absolutely necessary.

You only have to do the rear if you use longer than stock shocks. 1" longer like the OME N86 is noy going to matter but with the FZJ-80 rear shocks I once used, it was necessary.

Lots of folks do. Why is it bothering you what he wants to do with his truck? :wtf: Let the man spend his $$$.

My lifted 2WD : Warning...2WD lifted 4Runner here!

By the way, I never replaced my brake lines.
