Was driving my 86 truck to work, and the check engine light started flashing, like it was throwing codes, just driving down the road. It did this 2days in a row. Never had it happen before. The oil, and coolant, and every thing checked fine. Uses a little oil every now and again, but not too bad. Any one had this happen before? It keeps flashing a code 11(ecu/ecm) while I'm driving

 

If you check for codes the proper way, terminals jumped, key in "on" position without engine running, what do you get/

 

My connections were dirty. Cleaned them, and the truck ran fine. And as far as checking codes, I wasn't trying to check them. I was just driving it, and it started flashing them
