95 4Runner - Where can I find this darn union-nut elbow for the trans cooler line??

Hello...I'm trying to get my 1995 4Runner back on the road. (3.0L V6, A/T)

I've got a leak from the trans cooler lines...right where the flare fitting goes into the union-elbow on the passenger-side of the transmission. (Pics attached)

The flare nut is so rusted that I haven't been able to get it off. My plan was to cut the line, remove the union elbow from the trans bung, and put a new one in, then get enough of a stub flared to attach (hopefully) a compression fitting.

Problem is...I can't find the union elbow! I went to the local Toyota dealer, and they tried to give me the other (rear) elbow union, which has a 90-degree bend, but as you can see from the pics, that WON'T work in the front...the elbow I need extends about an inch or so and turns on more of a 45-60* angle to get around what I'm assuming is a trans oil temp sensor. I'm sure the front and rear fittings use the same thread to thread into the trans, but the rear elbow won't clear that sensor in front.

Dealer's parts diagrams are so old that the pictures are vague, and they show the same part number for both unions.

Can anyone tell me where I can find this part?? Is this threading in the transmission "bung" the same for all Toyota trucks? If so, is there a comparable union that will fit and still clear that sensor?? Is this part in the picture even a Toyota part, or had someone replaced it at some point with some OEM stuff??

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to avoid reaching the point where I have to try to bush-rig a seal with some RTV and/or JB-weld, and do this right.

Thanks
-Ed

could you remove the sensor next to it(temp?), screw in the 90 degree, then reinstall the sensor?
I looked at the parts schematic, i see what you mean. The drawings aren't the issue as much as it has one part number for both unions, and a qty of 2. that's a problem.
The first five of the part number is "90407-" i tried searching that and found a half dozen more, but all were 90's.
But if you google metric pipe fittings you'll find several companies selling metric. You might need to get two pieces to make the one you want.

It doesn't look like it...if you look at the sensor, it looks like there's an actual cast "knuckle" that's part of the trans that it screws into. I don't think the 90 fitting from the rear would clear that.

I know that the union elbow screws into the trans with an O-ring...but I'm wondering if it's a common size across a lot of Toyota models, thus all the different "90407" parts.

If I could even get a STRAIGHT one that has the right threads to get into the trans, I could probably either bend a new section of line...or just splice in a length of rubber fuel hose. Not ideal to use rubber under the truck, I know...but it would be driveable.

90407-16009 is like the rear elbow, but comes out on more of a 60 degree....but still doesn't offset far enough from the trans to clear the sensor.

I wish I could find an actual photo of 90407-16010...the drawing looks promising.

Don't know if this will help but...

Try this link.
https://www.japan-parts.eu/toyota/us...ol-engine-fuel

If you put 90407-16010 in the 'search part #" spot to the right of the ELECTRICAL tab it takes you to the Oil Cooler Tube diagram. Click on 32921C, a popup displays different part numbers for the Inlet and Outlet connector. That diagram is good for VZN120,90,85...

My local toyota online parts shows a pic of 90407-16009
