Hi i have a pickup 1983 2wd 4speed with 4.74 diff ratio. Before i rebuild the engine i was getting 75 mph with no much effort. Now cant pass 2k rpm in highway and i only get 50 mph if i floor it down. Recently i try a pickup 1982 5 speed with the same diff ratio and all stock and i get 60mph with middle throttle with no effort. It can get 3500 rpm and mine not. The compression and carb are good, what could cause this lack of power? A distribuitor tooth off can cause this?
