22RE crank no start despite fuel pressure
My wife was towing a small firewood tree down the road and my 88 SR5 4Runner quit and now we can't get it started.
Check all fuses I could find in the cab and under the hood- none blown. Fuel pump doesn't seem to pump when I turn on the switch on so I jumpered the Fp connection in the small diagnostic box and the pump then comes on and I have good fuel pressure. But eveb with the pump running it still cranks with no start. I tried messing with trying to start it with the flapper door in the air sensor and that didn't do anything either.
Any other ideas? Must be something simple for it to just quit running out of the blue with no real warning signs. I just can't figure it out.
Thanks folks.

Still need to check spark and also EFI I guess. Got late and dark on me and now I'm back at work. Is there something simple that would cause either of these two things to go out kind of suddenly like that?
