I've been chasing down some issues on my '95 v6. I ended up replacing the fuel pump, injectors, tps (could I have installed this wrong?) and pressure regulator but it's still running rich with lots of black smoke. I was testing the MAF/AFM? and left it unplugged and started it up. The engine was cold but seemed to run normal (a little bit high idle). I then plugged the maf back in and it idled down and started pumping out black smoke again, i removed it again and back to ~normal. What does this mean?

no, no codes. I used the jumper method and got a steady blink.
