EGR to PCV 20r Weber Swap
Going through the tech sheet to install this Weber 32/36 on my ‘76 Chinook. I thought my kit from LCE performance came with an EGR block off plate, but it only has one for the manifold, and that has a threaded hole with a hose fitting that’s supposed to go somewhere on the manifold. It’s a little boomerang shaped one with two mounting holes on either side and the threaded fitting hole in the center.
It also says to route that to the PCV valve. On the old Aisin carb there is a plastic plate that has a fitting the PCV hose used to go in. The kit only has the two aluminum plates to adapt the manifold to the carb and no fittings.
I’m wondering if some years didn’t have an EGR port on the intake itself?
where would I route the PCV valve to If that’s the case?
Also, while I’m waiting for an EGR block off kit for the engine block, can I just cap off the EGR valve temporarily so that I can start tuning this carburetor?
thanks

You can temporarily cap things off but any vacuum leaks from the temporary job are going to negate any tuning settings. Better to just wait for the block off plates.
