4Runner coil to leaf (Chevy 63’s) pics? Tips?

Hi there! New here and hoping to get pics (and measurements if you have any to share) of Chevy 63” conversions on 4Runners specifically? Hoping to convert my new to me 1990, as the almagamation of previous lift parts have begun to tear the axle open around the link mounts.

I have a low range off-road upper shock mount already, and trail gear’s 63” swap kit, a second gen truck rear housing, and 2wd 3+1 Chevy leaves, but just some quick eyeballing measurements makes it seem like I’ll be awful close to having to mount the shackle hanger under the rearmost section of the frame that’s unboxed? Is there any concern about strength there?
Thanks!

I've swapped in 63" Chevy springs into my 88 but, never into your generation truck. I also used 4wd springs. I made my own pack from several packs until I liked the ride and flex. I take the overload leaf out. My truck rode and flexed great but I had axle wrap and ended up making an anti wrap bar. Much better with it.

What I CAN offer is to take your time and just tack weld things and recheck before final welding. If you weren't given placement directions, I'd get it semi-mocked up and shift the front hangers as needed to get it centered with keeping in mind the axle will swing back as it compresses. You might have to rig it with one spring in the pack to check. So you can flex it easier. You'll have a better idea so you can set shackle angle as well. Don't weld your spring perches until you set pinion angle.

Once you get it positioned and tacked up you can set pinion angle at your ride height. Again just heavy tacks and recheck everything before final welding.
Hopefully your drive shaft still fits. If not you know what to do. Might be a good time for a double Carden shaft and set pinion angle pointing at the T-case flange. Instruction online. Less vibration and driveshaft up out of harms way with this type drive shaft.

Sa far as the rear hanger at the rear of the frame.........I think even my 88 was like that. I don't remember for sure. I've seen guys add a crossmember there. (On 2nd gen trucks) Box it in if it needs it.

These are my thoughts. Sorry if you already know all this. I have no idea what your skill set or experience is. No offense meant.

Good luck with your build.
