Is there supposed to be a jet on the power valve?

Rebuilding my 22r stock carb. Opened it up, there is no jet on the power valve. Doing a little research, it seems like this is common, with many people documenting their rebuilds mentioning the jet on their power valve was "missing". It seems unlikely that so many people would have the exact same "problem". So my question, is this a problem at all? Or is this correct for a 22r carb? Specifically, mine is on an '86 4x4 Pickup. The FSM doesn't mention anything about a jet in the power valve, and the crappy little picture doesn't appear to show one....but there are definitely threads for one, and my rebuild kit came with one, and several rebuild threads say there should be one (https://bitdrivencircuits.com/Toyota...sassembly.html - https://board.marlincrawler.com/inde...essage=1139586)

For reference, apparently this guy H8PVMNT (who thinks the 22r power valve SHOULD be jetted) really, really, really knows these carbs, as another member said (https://board.marlincrawler.com/inde...essage=1174781)

So what's the deal? To jet, or not to jet? Thanks fellas!

Since no replies, I'm going to answer my own question for future readers and say, from what I have determined, there should not be a jet on the power valve...or at least it is left off from the factory on 22r's (apparently there is a jet on 20r's). I'm kinda curious if adding a jet will improve (or diminish) performance in any area, but I trust that if the Toyota engineers thought there should be one, they would've added it, so I'll be leaving mine off and I suggest future readers do the same.
