No fire/signal to dizzy? So confused!

Hello all! Ty for taking the time to take a "virtual " look at my shenanigans...welp I got an 89 4x4 that had a rats nest coming out of the hood...don't wanna pull no punches lol could be something I'm missing..I'll try to include photos but basically I'm using a test light and a multimeter...with the key on in the on position I'm getting 12v outta the white or non black wire on the ignitor or coil or whatever I understand the black side is supposed to pulse? Not sure if that is happening... But either way past this point I'm not getting any fire like the main wire leading from the coil to the dizzy...I've tried two others one I know should still be working...is there a fuse or relay that would cause this? Like half my ignitor is lighting up the way it should or as to the best of my understanding but no fire getting to dizzy...I'm betting a fuse or relay would cancel signal somehow or something? I'm stumped if anyone has any ideas I'd be so greatly appreciative you can even talk down to me hahaha I doubt I can post pictures... the wires I'm getting 12v to is the connection between coil and ignitor I think..please don't be too mean lol
