Horn Plunger Replaced

I recently traced my horn circuit to find a bad piece of wire but in the process replaced the plunger and spring with an OEM Toyota plunger just to be sure.
Definitely surprised to see how worn down the old one was! It had a bend in it too that was making it stick. I had been using a .22 shell over the end to make contact for the last few years.
No need for that anymore. I think I paid about $14. Fixed the broken wire and MEEP! MEEP!

Good to know. What does shipping into the U.S. typically add?

Paying dealer markup is annoying but for something this small and the satisfaction of getting the part while the project has momentum is worth some additional expense.
It's all relative though. Before you showed me what you sell them for I thought it was well worth the price for a part that won't be replaced for another 40 years. Now I feel like I've paid more than twice what it's worth. Does it have any actual effect on my wallet? No. Is it psychologically crushing? Briefly.

agreed , I didnt want you to feel bad , you should feel good , it fixed your issue . devide the price differance over the next 40 years , and its less then minimal .
just letting the next guy know , if they ever do a search , and this pops up .
heres the thing .. shipping is only ~ $1.70 on todays date (letter post) , but it would take prob. 10 days to get to you .
