3.4 crossover on 3.0?

Is it easy or at least possible to bolt the 3.4 crossover to stock 3.0 manifolds? Obviously I'd need to at least use the 3.0 cross over delete plate but other than that would they at least line up with the manifold closs enough to make it work?

I only ask because it looks like the 3.4 crossover would help with the head gasket issue a little bit. Seems to be a better flowing design that doesn't dump heat right by the problem cylinder.

I would do headers but I live in California and most headers aren't ca approved and if they are seem to be much pricier than a 3.4 crossover.

Unless I'm mistaken the 3.4 dumps down on the opposite side but I don't think there is too much more I'd have to worry about. Since my 95 is a 2wd.

Just any idea, curious if anyone had the same though and already tried and failed.
