Guy has a 91 4wd Toyota 4wd truck for sale near me abandon he told me it skipped a little at idle but ran good driving down the road but the other issue is that in reverse you have to put it in 4-low to back up and does fine and shifts good in all forward gears any idea of th cause????

He also has a 91 4 runner 4wd that shifts good manually but not when you put it in Drive, it’s like it wants to got straight to second.... any ideas for either vehicle would be awesome thanks guys
